If the termination is effectuated pursuant to Article III, Section
4(B)(2)(b) the letter must state the reason for the decision, and
notify the Member of her right to appeal to the Chapter Executive
Committee (as outlined below). The letter must be sent via regular
and Certified Mail within 5 days of the Chapter’s decision. Copies
of the letter shall be sent to the Regional Director, the National
Officer of the Region and to the National Recording Secretary. The
letter is effective once sent.

Appeal of Involuntary Termination
1.

Members terminated pursuant to Article III, Section 4(B)(2)(a) above shall
follow the National Grievance Process within the NPP.

Members terminated pursuant to Article III, Section 4(B)(2)(b): After
receipt of notification of termination by the Chapter, a member shall have
thirty (30) days to appeal in writing to the Chapter Executive Committee
(See the National Constitution & Bylaws, Article I, Section 5(B) and the
NPP).

If the Chapter Executive Committee upholds the termination elected
by the Chapter body, the Chapter Corresponding Secretary shall issue
written notice to the terminated Member of the Chapter Executive
Committee’s decision to uphold the Chapter body’s election to
terminate by a letter sent via regular and Certified Mail within 5
days of the Chapter Executive Committee’s decision. The letter must
state the reason for the decision, and notify the Member of her right
to appeal to the Regional Director. Copies of the letter shall be
sent to the Regional Director, the National Officer of the Region and
to the National Recording Secretary. The letter is effective once
sent.

If the terminated Member deems the decision of the Chapter
