Orientation and Initiation
1.
New members’ orientation shall be held prior to the initiation ceremony.

The initiation ceremony shall be held no later than May 31st.

ALL new members shall be required to attend orientation and initiation.
4.
ALL new members are required to purchase or obtain a Jack and Jill Manual
and a Jack and Jill National Constitution and Bylaws.

The roster of new members, the joining fees, and the Headquarters Assessment must
be sent to the National Headquarters no later than May 31st.
G.
A Member who has completed her membership tenure in Good Standing and, due
to changed circumstances, desires to again become a member of the Organization
shall be entitled to automatically become a member of the Chapter (if she lives
within the required territorial boundaries as defined in Article III, Section 1(A)
hereof) upon submission of a membership application and payment of any required
fees.

Termination of Membership
Voluntary Termination (Resignation)

The Chapter Corresponding Secretary shall send a letter, on behalf of the
Chapter Vice President, confirming acceptance of the resignation and
confirming termination of membership in the Organization. The letter
should also confirm the standing of the member at the time of termination
(Good Standing/Not in Good Standing). Said letter shall be sent by to the
terminated Member within 30 days of the Chapter Vice President’s receipt of
the written resignation. A copy of the confirming letter shall be kept in the
files of the Chapter Corresponding Secretary.

A Member who desires to resign from the Chapter must do so by submitting
a written resignation to the Chapter Vice President and a copy to the Chapter
Corresponding Secretary.
Reinstatement: Members terminated pursuant to this section, that
completed their membership tenure in Good Standing, may be restored to
membership pursuant to Article III, Section 3(G) hereof.
