Associates membership shall fall under the responsibilities of the
Chapter Vice President.

Mothers considered for membership as Associates shall be former
Members who completed their tenure in Good Standing in Jack and
Jill.
Associates - Group
a.

The Associates may organize and function independently of the
Chapter, but all funds must be channeled through the Chapter.
c.
The Associates will be governed by the National Constitution and
Bylaws of the Organization.
d.
The Associates must give financial support to the Foundation. They
may support the Foundation by assisting and/or supporting the
Chapter with its fundraiser(s), by having their own fundraiser(s), or
by making a donation.

The Ch apter President will appoint the Chapter Associate
Chairperson.

Associate Members may organize within the Chapter into a group
known as the “Associates of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.”
(hereinafter “The Associates Group”), with a minimum of five
Associate Members.
Management of The Associates Group matters shall be the
responsibility of the Chapter Vice President
Honorary Life Membership
Outstanding and influential mothers who have made meritorious contributions to
children and to the welfare of children shall hold Honorary Life Membership when
recommended by the membership and approved by the National Executive Board.
D.
Life Membership
1.
Any mother, female legal guardian, or custodial caretaker who has been an
Active Member for at least 10 years, has completed her tenure in Good
Standing, and has reached Associate status may apply for Life Membership.
The 10 year service requirement can be satisfied by either membership as an
Active Member in a chapter for a minimum of 10 years or by membership in
a chapter of less than 10 years combined with membership as a Financial
Associate Member. See the National Bylaws for additional information.
