Members must adhere to all of the tenets of the National
Constitution and Bylaws, NPP (and any other governing
documents in support thereof), the National Code of Ethics,
Regional Policies and Procedures, the Chapter Bylaws and the
SWSDRCP.
Members must provide updated contact information to the
Membership Committee chairperson within 30 days of a change.
The Membership chairperson’s list of member contacts shall serve as
the official record (“Membership Directory”) for all distributions.
Failure to provide updated information shall not be a basis for
Involuntary Termination of membership. However, failure to update
information shall prevent a Member from objecting to any official
action taken by the membership due to lack of notice.
Associate Members
1.
Associate - Individual
a.
An Active Member may become an Associate Member of the
Organization when either the Member’s youngest Child completes
high school or when the youngest child reaches age twenty (20).
The Member completes her membership tenure in Good Standing by
paying the National and Regional Per Capita Tax (defined herein) and
any fees upon which the Chapter and Associates mutually agree.
b.
Upon the death of an only child or the youngest child of a Member
in Good Standing, the Member may continue her affiliation with the
organization as an Associate Member.
c.
An Associate Member may attend National, Regional and Chapter
meetings as a non-voting Member, but cannot be elected to an office or
chair a National committee. However, an Associate may be
appointed as Regional Associate Chair or National Associate Chair.
d.
If the Chapter Associates Group (defined below) dissolves, the
Associate member is entitled to transfer her membership to a nearby
chapter or to the National office.
e.
An Associate Member may choose to affiliate with the associate
group of a nearby chapter, if the Chapter does not have an Associates
Group.
f.
The Chapter shall have an Associate liaison to help recruit tenured
mothers and disseminate Associate information to Associates. The
