Appointed officers shall perform the duties prescribed in these Bylaws and
other duties applicable to the office as prescribed in the Parliamentary
Authority adopted by the Organization.
Eligibility Requirement(s): An appointee must be a Member in Good
Standing
Installation and Transition:
The installation of the new officers shall take place no later than May 31st.
New Officers shall assume the responsibilities of their office on August

1st (the new Program Year).
All outgoing Teen Auxiliary officers must complete all reports due at the
end of their tenure and turn over all files and records to incoming Chapter
officers by June 15th
Resignation from Office
An officer who is unable or unwilling to perform the duties of his/her
office shall submit a written resignation to the Teen President and the
Teen Sponsor. The Teen President (or the Teen Vice President if the Teen
President is resigning) shall (y) present the request to the Teen Executive
Committee and (z) begin the process to fill the vacancy pursuant to
Section 6 below. The Executive Committee shall officially accept such
resignation. The office shall be deemed vacant when the resignation is
accepted by the Chapter Executive Committee. The duties of an office
must not be abandoned until a resignation has been accepted, and the
vacancy has been filled.
If, due to academic or emergency circumstances, the position must be
abandoned immediately, the Teen President shall appoint a temporary
replacement until the Teen Executive Committee and the Teen
membership can fill the vacancy through the formal process pursuant to
Section 6 below.
Vacancies
When a vacancy occurs in the Teen President position, the Teen Vice
President will assume the role as Teen President.
Should a vacancy occur in any other elected office the vacancy shall be
filled by a vote in favor of a nominated candidate by a majority of the
Teens in Good Standing.
Vacancies shall be filed within thirty (30) days of the date that the vacancy
arises.
Acting Teen Auxiliary Officers: During the interim period prior to an
officer vacancy being filled permanently, the Teen Sponsor MAY appoint
a Teen in Good Standing to serve in the vacated office until someone is
