Teens must serve on at least one (1) Teen Auxiliary committee (Standing
or Special) within the Program Year.
A Teen should try to participate in at least one Chapter-Sponsored Event
(Jack and Jill Day/September; Christmas Party/December or Black Family
Day Celebration/May). Participation includes planning and/or attendance.
Teens must attend/participate in their age-group activities. A Teen’s
unexcused absence from three (3) or more age-group activities can result
in loss of Active Teen status. See Sec. 2 Item B above.
Teens must adhere to all of the tenets of these Teen Bylaws.
Teen Sponsor will determine161 absence is Excused or Unexcused.

Article III. Teen Officers

Section 1. Elected Offices
A.
The Teen Executive Committee consists of offices elected by the Teen
Auxiliary The elected offices of the Teen Auxiliary of the Southwest
Suburban Dallas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. shall be:

Vice-President
3.
Recording Secretary
4.
Corresponding Secretary
5.
Treasurer
6.
Historian

Editor
B.
Term of Office: A term of office shall be no more than one (1) year.
Elected Teen officers shall serve no more than two (2) consecutive terms.
C.
Elected Officers shall be elected by the votes of a favorable majority of
the Teens in Good Standing.
D.
Elected officers shall perform the duties prescribed in these Bylaws and
other duties applicable to the office as prescribed in the Parliamentary
Authority adopted by the Organization.
E.
Eligibility Requirements
1.
A nominee for elected office must be a Member in Good Standing
2.
Elected officers shall NOT hold Regional office while serving a
Chapter office.
Section 2. Election
A.
Teen officers shall be elected by the votes of a favorable majority of the
Teens in Good Standing.
B.
The election timeline shall consist of nominations in March, Officer
Elections in April and Installation Ceremony in May.
C.
Election of Teen officers shall be by secret ballot.
Section 3. Appointed Offices
A.
The Teen Auxiliary appointed offices shall be filled by the Teen President
and include the following:
