A Member with more than one child in a given Age-Group may fulfill her sponsorship obligation by sponsoring one event for all of her children in that Age-Group. A Member with more than one child in the Chapter may fulfill her sponsorship obligation by sponsoring one event for all of her children as long as the activity is age appropriate for all of the AgeGroups involved. The Program Director has sole discretion in determining whether the suggested activity is age appropriate. Within 30 days after a sponsored activity, the Sponsoring Member or Co-Sponsoring Members must submit a Jack & Jill Activity Report and Evaluation Form to the relevant Age-Group Chair and the Program Director. Sample Activity Report and Evaluation Form attached as Exhibit A. If, after each Age-Group member mother has selected a month to sponsor an activity, there are months left open in the balance of the Program Year, the Age-Group’s member mother’s may decide what activities, if any, will fill the balance of the calendar. Children/Members will be given participation credit for months when no activity is offered. Suggestions: Members should try to provide the details of their event approximately 1 month prior to the scheduled date. This allows participating Members to adequately plan to support the event. Emails, EVITE, or other online invitation services are great methods for delivery. Age-Group Activity – Child Participation Members MUST ensure that all of their children participate in the scheduled age-group activities. Children may not be absent from three (3) or more age-group activities in one (1) program year. Children may receive Age-Group activity participation credit for attending the Chapter-Sponsored activities in September (Jack and Jill Day), May (Black Family Day), and possibly December (Christmas Party). For the stated months, all children may participate in the Chapter-Sponsored event and/or the scheduled Age-Group Activity to receive participation credit.
