Activity in order to receive participation credit for that given
month.
A Member with more than one child in a given Age-Group may
fulfill her sponsorship obligation by sponsoring one event for all of
her children in that Age-Group.
A Member with more than one child in the Chapter may fulfill her
sponsorship obligation by sponsoring one event for all of her
children as long as the activity is age appropriate for all of the AgeGroups involved. The Program Director has sole discretion in
determining whether the suggested activity is age appropriate.
Within 30 days after a sponsored activity, the Sponsoring Member
or Co-Sponsoring Members must submit a Jack & Jill Activity
Report and Evaluation Form to the relevant Age-Group Chair
and the Program Director. Sample Activity Report and Evaluation
Form attached as Exhibit A.
If, after each Age-Group member mother has selected a month to
sponsor an activity, there are months left open in the balance of
the Program Year, the Age-Group’s member mother’s may decide
what activities, if any, will fill the balance of the calendar.
Children/Members will be given participation credit for months
when no activity is offered.
Suggestions: Members should try to provide the details of their
event approximately 1 month prior to the scheduled date. This
allows participating Members to adequately plan to support the
event. Emails, EVITE, or other online invitation services are great
methods for delivery.
Age-Group Activity – Child Participation
Members MUST ensure that all of their children participate in the
scheduled age-group activities. Children may not be absent from
three (3) or more age-group activities in one (1) program year.
Children may receive Age-Group activity participation credit for
attending the Chapter-Sponsored activities in September (Jack and
Jill Day), May (Black Family Day), and possibly December
(Christmas Party). For the stated months, all children may
participate in the Chapter-Sponsored event and/or the scheduled
Age-Group Activity to receive participation credit.
Once a Program Year, a child attending both a ChapterSponsored Activity and an Age-Group Activity in the SAME
MONTH will receive two (2) participation credits, one (1) of which
may be used towards participation credit in a month wherein the
