Post-Presentation Matters
Once questions are completed (or the allotted time has elapsed), the presenters
will be dismissed to take their place among the Membership (unless the matter is
before the Executive Committee, then any presenter that is not a member of the
Executive Committee shall be dismissed). The Parliamentarian and Sergeant-atArms (so that a witness is present) will be responsible for contacting the
Respondent to explain that notice of the Chapter’s decision will be issued no later
than 3 days after the meeting. The notice shall state the decision made by the
Reviewing Body, and notify the Respondent of any other actions that are required
to be taken as a result of the decision, or of the right to appeal the decision. The
Respondent must notify the Parliamentarian and the Sergeant-at-Arms of the
manner in which she would like to be notified of the decision, and will be asked to
provide the relevant details for that notice to go forth. The notice is effective
when sent.
If the Respondent refuses to provide a preference for where the decision should
be sent, the address provided in the official Membership Directory shall be used
for the purpose of notice, and shall be sent by regular and registered mail.
