could be terminated. This format should be used for both Executive
Committee and Chapter hearings.
C. Notice of Termination Decisions: The Corresponding Secretary shall issue
notice to the Member 1) named in a grievance or 2) who’s membership
status is being reviewed as a result of a recommendation by the
Membership Committee and the Executive Committee, of the Executive
Committee’s and/or the Chapter’s decision on the matter concerning her
membership. The notice shall be a letter sent via regular and Certified
Mail (return receipt requested) or personal delivery (supported by
affidavit of the messenger) within three (3) days of the Executive
Committee’s and/or the Chapter’s vote on the matter (whatever the
decision), stating therein the reason for the decision, and the member’s
right to appeal pursuant to the Bylaws and/or the National Bylaws (if
applicable).
