but rather in one central factory to distribute
all over the world. This makes it nearly impossible for Amorino to come up with new flavors
on a daily basis, since it would be too difficult
to do this for all seventeen countries the company is operating in. Santini is doing a better
job than Amorino in creating new flavors,
even though the company does not perform
this as frequently as Nannarella does. Santini’s
flavor offering is clearly exceptional, ranging
from ‘Baked Apple’ to ‘Gorgonzola with Walnuts’ as well as ‘Acai with Strawberry’.
Artisani stores serve around 33 ice
cream flavors. Their product offering is not as
special as Santini’s, but they provide more
specialties than Nannarella does, and have an
even broader range of flavors than Amorino
has. To state an example, Artisani produces six
different chocolate flavors, namely “Nutella”,
“Gianduja”, “Chocolate Belga”, “Straciatella”,
“Salame de Chocolate”, “Bolachas Oreo”. Furthermore, similar to Amorino, Artisani offers
ice creams aligned to customers with health
problems, such as lactose intolerance. However, Artisani takes more time to add new flavors and change some of them in its menu.
Summing up, Nannarella has a clear
differential advantage in coming up with new
flavors in a daily manner. Nevertheless, in
terms of flavor quantity, the product offering
by Santini exceeds the ones of all other competitors.
"We insist on keeping a close eye on
the production of our gelato to thus
be able to guarantee the highest
standard of quality to all our customers. In order to achieve this consistency, our products arrive at each shop
ready to be served, this avoids the
risk of product alteration and we can
guarantee that our customers will enjoy the same experience regardless of
where they go to buy it".
