● Water   Reservoir   capacity   of   the   dam   is   9   million   acres   feet 
● The   installed   capacity   of   the   power   generation   plant   near   the   dam   is   816 
Megawatt   power   and   provides   irrigation   to   around   4520   sq   kms   of 
agricultural   lands   of   two   districts   ­   Prakasam   and   Guntur.
