● Height of the dam is 407 feet (124 metres)

● Water Reservoir capacity of the dam is 9 million acres feet
● The installed capacity of the power generation plant near the dam is 816
Megawatt power and provides irrigation to around 4520 sq kms of
agricultural lands of two districts Prakasam and Guntur.
