Specifications   of   the   I   ndira   Sagar    Dam: 

● Length   of   the   dam   is   2142   feet   (653   metres) 
● Height   of   the   dam   is   302   feet   (92   metres)  
● Type   of   the   dam   is   Concrete   Gravity   type  
● Water   Reservoir   capacity   of   the   dam   is   9.8   million   acres   feet 
● The   installed   capacity   of   the   power   generation   plant   near   the   dam   is   1,000

4. Nagarjuna   Sagar   Dam: 
The   world’s   largest   masonry   dam   was   constructed   across   the   river   Krishna   and 
exists   as   a   boundary   between   two   districts,   Guntur   of   Andhra   Pradesh   state   and 
Nalgonda   of   Telangana   state.   The   dam   was   built   in   the   year   1955   and   opened   in
