like Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan
● The installed capacity of the power generation plant near the dam is 1,325

3. Indira Sagar Dam:
This is a multipurpose dam constructed across the 5th large st river in India,
Narmada located in Mundi in Khandwa district of the Madhya Pradesh state.
Though the foundation stone was laid in the year 1984 by the former Prime
Minister of India, Late Smt Indira Gandhi, actual construction of the dam began in
