My project theme was the chemicals that affect bees. I believe this is very important, not only because of the bees' influence on our ecosystem, but also because of the power each of us have to protect them.
In the Amiens meeting, I learned about how little things, like having a small garden, buying natural honey or choosing to use fewer to none pesticides can make a HUGE difference for the local bee community.
It was nice to see so many people working on a presentation to raise awareness about such small, reliable pollinators. Fortunately, the situation of the bees in Romania is good, but we can always help to make it better!😉
