HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Valued Members,
In the blink of an eye, summer is coming to an end and we are approaching season again! The Club has
been active throughout the summer in a wonderful way, and I am very proud of the steps we have taken in
making this summer safe and successful.
One of the biggest changes we’ve made over this past year is increasing our presence on social media. If you
haven’t already, please like us on Facebook for both Sun ‘N Lake Golf Club and the Island View Restaurant.
All the Club’s happenings regarding golf and food are posted there. We have also been active in posting our
new segment called #TipOfTheWeek. In these segments, each of our golf professionals on staff will offer
some helpful tips to improve your golf game! We hope you will use this platform to help stay up to date on
what is going on at the Club.
Our Club will be home to the Sebring boys’ and girls’ golf teams again this year. Over the next couple
months, you will see these youngsters practicing at the range and playing on our courses. These kids are
our future leaders and hopefully members of the Club. Should you run into some of these kids, offer a
word of encouragement to them. It is my hope that their experience at our Club will be a positive impact in
their lives. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic the Crutchfield/Hawkins High School Invitational that we
normally host in late September has been canceled. This tournament has always attracted the best of the
best high school golf teams in the state of Florida and I hope it will return next year.
Lastly, I am happy to say that all the golf staff will return for this upcoming season. Your professional staff
will remain the same with myself, Tom and JJ. Kay, Pat and Cindy will also be around ready to help with all
your needs. There were a few staff changes that you may have noticed earlier this year. Our new additions of
Julie and Taylor will round off the staff and bring some great personalities to help as well!
We hope all of you stay safe and we look forward to having all our members back soon.
Keep it in the Middle,
Andy Kesling
