It ’ s October and it seems like this year has gone by so quickly . However , it also seems like the beginning of this year was so long ago ; days when we could gather without fear of catching a virus . Our MGA Couples events and tournaments like the WGA Member / Guest are just a few that come to mind when I look back on all the fun we have at this Club . The fellowship , dancing and awesome meals with a packed clubhouse remain prevalent in my mind , but they also seem so far in the past as our world has flipped upside down . With everything that has changed , I remain optimistic that the “ Good Old Days ” will return better than ever and we can get back to our normal lives without fear . In the meantime , let ’ s count our blessings that we still have golf to keep us occupied .
As we begin this fiscal year , my team is focused on elevating your experience in the golf shop , on the golf courses and on the lesson tee . We are excited and prepared for the many golf tournaments we host throughout the year . We will strive to make these events run seamlessly . In the golf shop , we will have new apparel lines , new GPS / rangefinders , new footwear and certainly the latest and greatest in golf equipment . Make sure to take advantage of our Fall Shop Sale going on right now . You can save big time as we are working to create room for the new items . At the practice facility , we will host weekly golf clinics ranging from putting and short game focuses , to iron play and driver swings . These clinics will begin the 1st week in November . If you prefer one-on-one individual instruction , we offer private lesson series to help piece your game together . Our experienced professionals are here to improve any aspect of your game .
One area of focus that I want to stress to you is our golf cart policies . My team has been instructed to increase our ranger presence on the courses . You will notice a ranger on the course helping to move play along and ensuring our cart policies are being followed . If a golfer violates one of these polices , a warning will be issued . Subsequent violations by the same golfer will result in documentation and possible disciplinary action . Following these policies is very important to the condition of the turf . With the increase in cart traffic during season , along with single cart riders due to the pandemic , we must be diligent in taking care of our courses , and that starts with driving the golf cart in the proper areas . Please refer to the Club ’ s Rules and Regulations document on the website for further details on our cart policies .
Lastly , we are beginning to see some of our northern members return and we are anxiously awaiting the return of our members from Canada . We hope all of you are healthy and are planning a return at some point this season . If there is anything you need , please feel free to reach out to me or one of our staff members .
Keep it in the Middle ,
