GOLDSMITHS, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON 1581 – Personalised Timetables SUMS helped Goldsmiths move forward with a College-wide implementation of personalised staff and student timetables: proving the approach with a pilot implementation in three departments. SUMS supported this implementation; the project was a success, despite a number of systems and staffing challenges. Personal timetables were switched on for over 9,000 students in September 2015. 1638 – Sustaining Goldsmiths SUMS helped Goldsmiths to set out the strategic change programme for the Sustainable Goldsmiths programme. This work involved facilitating high-level strategies for change – clarifying the vision, the key changes required and implementation programme within each of the themes of the strategy. SUMS facilitated small high-level executive groups to formulate these strategic change plans. 1731 – Facilitation of HR/Payroll team building workshop SUMS was asked by Goldsmiths to facilitate a one-day workshop to help achieve greater integration between the HR/Payroll teams. Having recently implemented their Agresso HR payroll system, Goldsmiths wanted to use this as an opportunity to create a more integrated team with improved ways of working. SUMS facilitated the workshop focusing on creating greater understanding between the two teams and overcoming any barriers to achieving a more joined up approach. The workshop involved all members of both teams working together on processes, team culture and approach and practical ways to achieve more effective integration. The workshop generated a shared commitment to achieving greater integration, prioritisation of the key processes that needed to be improved and practical actions to enable the teams to work together more effectively. 30 SUMS Consulting Annual Review 2016
