Free ! Restoration Work Days

Su , June 9 , July 14 , August 11 , September 15 • 9-11 am

Make a positive change by assisting in restoration efforts by such as removing non-native plants or collection seed . Please bring work gloves if you have them and wear sturdy shoes and long pants . Volunteers under 15 must participate with an adult . Registration is not necessary , but RSVPs are appreciated ! Free ! Historic 1856 Kennicott House Tours

Summer Hours : 11 am-3 pm Tu , Th , Sa and Su

Stroll up to this beautiful Victorian-era home and take a moment to prepare for a journey back in time . As your guide takes you through the home , you begin to feel what life was like in the 19th century for the Kennicott family . The museum home maintains a majority of its original features and displays over 40 of the Kennicott family ’ s original belongings .

Work with and learn from the best group of gardeners in our community ! Share garden information and cultivate friendships all while tending to the Glenview Gardeners ’ longest-running community project , the Kennicott four square garden and the new pollinator garden
