Last held in 2019 , HyperMeet is a longstanding tradition for Subaru fanatics who reside in and around the Greater Toronto Area . Held at Subaru Canada headquarters in Mississauga , the annual summertime meet represents a great opportunity to engage with fellow owners and fans , and to raise money for an incredibly worthy charity , Ronald McDonald House Charities — Toronto .
The Toronto Subaru Club , which used to organize the event , was out in full force for this return engagement . Longtime club member Derek Serianni couldn ’ t contain his enthusiasm for HyperMeet and for the main charity the event supports : “[ Ronald McDonald House ] is very near and dear to my own personal heart . I ’ ve spent a lot of time at the house just volunteering and meeting the families . But I also have a friend who had to use the house for his family and it made a world of difference .”

Due to the inclusive nature and family-friendly vibe , HyperMeet has now become one of the largest singlemarque owner gatherings in the country . One of the best aspects of the Subaru community is the varied ways in which people enjoy their respective rides . On one hand , you have Gerald Buno ’ s 2018 Subaru WRX STI , a full-on show car featuring incredible Japanese artwork-inspired graphics . The car also features custom air suspension that lowers the car right to the ground and tucks the wheels up into the fenders for the perfect stance . On the other side of the spectrum , there ’ s Jaleesa Thibault ’ s lifted 2017 Subaru Crosstrek . This showstopper is adorned with several
