If people don ’ t want to study , it ’ s just their desicion and the lack of obligatory school visits won ’ t save them in their future .

Corona virus has definitely made
us shift our decisions and latest plans . It has made a drastical difference in our day to day lives and one of the things , that has been attacked is our school system . My opinions are based on my own experience and that ’ s why I ’ m mostly going to talk about how the Czech Republic has dealt with educating young adults during these tough times . At first it seemed like a good solution to close schools in March of 2020 , but it was definitely unexpected for all of us . It only took around 2 weeks for the Coronavirus to appear in the Czech Republic and turn our lives upside down . People were fired from their work , kids switched to a distant education , which seemed like the way to go , but it appeared that it had only worked for people who were actually in to keep learning .
During the summertime , people were able to take masks off , travel again and they kept living freely , which we all thought would lead to a devastating increase of infected people , but our government stated , that they think the virus is almost gone .
In September , we all went to school again and continued living our lives just like we were used to , before the virus came . Unsurprisingly , the numbers of infected and ill people started increasing again , this time drastically , due to the daily mixing of people meeting at work , at schools and during freetime activities . Finally , the government had started doing something and their decisions lead to closing schools again , this time , the distant education being obligatory .
I think that that ’ s the way to go these days . Most of us are going to be selfeducating anyways , when we , if we , attend universities ..
For high schoolers it can be better to study online and not have to commute to school every day , if they ’ re interested in learning and educating themselves . For younger kids , it can be the complete opposite , since they ‘ re not really able to study by themselves and they can be a burden to their parents , because they have to get their work done too .
For older students it ’ s not really an obstacle to study online , because they know what ‘ s important and what ’ s not and what needs to be done , to be able to get good grades and make it to their dream university .
If people don ’ t want to study , it ’ s just their desicion and the lack of obligatory school visits won ’ t save them in their future .
For younger students it can be a bit harder , since they don ’ t really know how to study themselves and they need some adult to take a look at them once in a while .
In my opinion , school during corona times should be online for older students and for younger students there should be a way to go somewhere , where there would be teachers – at least once a week with kids divided to little groups .
Without commuting For high schoolers it can be better to study online and not have to commute to school every day .
