through closed and locked. The door ahead was now four feet away, and it was a lot bigger than the first one. Dakota walked up to it first. He tried the door, but instead of it swinging open, a voice emitted from a speaker overhead. We jumped and looked towards the speaker over the door.
“ State your names.” It wasn’ t a robot’ s voice this time, but a man’ s.“ Kasey Sarriot,” I said, firmly, hiding my emotions.“ Da-Dakota Sarriot,” echoed his fearful voice. We heard the lock open, and a couple seconds later, the door slid open to reveal a huge office, all yellow. The only thing in the office was a small table and chairs in the very middle. The rest was just emptiness with yellow floors and yellow walls.
“ Welcome to Main, the biggest building in the Territory. Please, sit down.” I turned to face the supersized man. The man was extremely tall( probably the reason for the giant doors) and wore all yellow, just like everything else in Main. But there was something different about him. First of all, he was human, and second of all, he was smirking at us. His insanely bright blue eyes held a million secrets, and he looked to be the most powerful person in the whole Territory.
Dakota and I followed the man to his little table and sat down.“ I am the most important person in the Territory, for I am the creator of it. I keep it running smoothly,” the man informed us. Dakota glanced at me quickly, waiting for my reaction.
“ Wow,” was all I could think of. The man ignored me, and kept talking.
“ Like I said, it is my job to keep the Territory running smoothly, and you two have gotten in the way of that.” I felt my lungs close up and my body go numb, like a pile of bricks had just fallen from the top of Main and landed on me. This was the most powerful person in the Territory, and he was capable of so much. I could only imagine what would become of Dakota and I if this man thought we were a problem for the Territory. The man looked at us with his piercing, bright blue eyes.“ I have no choice but to banish you from the Territory.”
