Working a variety of different jobs over the
years in order to put himself through college,
Marian has gained qualifications in Fitness
Instructing, Personal Training, Studio Cycling,
Circuit Training, Gym-Based Boxing, Sports
Nutrition, Kettlebells Training, Suspension (TRX),
Pilates, Emergency First Aid At Work and is also
about to qualify with a Level 3 Sports Massage
Therapy in June so will also be providing
professional sports massage as part of his growing
business.
Through Lift2befit, his own business, Marian
offers personal training services, one to one or
small group sessions at Pure Gym in Fenton or he
can travel to people’s homes. He’s also branching
out into helping local businesses with employee
welfare with the provision of fitness classes
ranging from Boot Camps, circuits, HIIT classes,
fast abs, spinning, boxercise to Pilates and is
interested in offering fitness sessions at village
halls, schools or community centres in the future
too.
One of Marian’s clients, 37 year old Dave
Bradbury could not speak highly enough of his
motivational instructor and now friend, who he
has been training with since December last year,
Dave commented: “Within 12 short weeks, Marian

convincing me to run my first half marathon! He’s

Marian himself said: “As a PT, my role is not

By organising group fitness sessions many of
Marian’s clients have organically grown as a team
taking on various challenges, some suggested and
others organised by Marian. There is a real sense of
community,
friendship
and
camaraderie
developed within the group which is always open
to new members regardless of gender, age, or
fitness ability.
