Field events attracted considerable interest and were great social occasions for project cooperators , field staff , scientists , property neighbours and like-minded graziers to explore land management approaches and to connect . The events often continued past the nominated finish time , with graziers occasionally offering participants refreshments after the event . Barbeques and dinners , often held after the activities , provided excellent networking and information-sharing opportunities for diverse groups of attendees .
