The shopping, storing, preparing and packaging is done by unpaid volunteers. In 2014, an estimated $45,000 will be spent to supply these food sacks for the elementary and Pre-K group alone. The number and distribution of sacks is determined by the teachers in the schools. As the organizers sat motionless listening to these numbers and facts, their passion to feed the children of North Central Oklahoma grew greatly.
