Prepare the fillings. Shape your ground beef
into a patty and season it. Make sure to flatten them so they cook evenly. Slice your veggies as well.
Next, fill your packets. Double up the alumni
on foil and spread a little olive oil on the surface. Then pile the veggies and meat into the
center fold. Once it’s to your liking, lay another layer of doubled up alumni on foil over
the top and wrap them up by turning in and
pinching the corners. Fold each edge up two
or three times and then dog ears the corners
up so it’s easier to get out of the fire.
Place your pack on the embers and surround
with coal. Let cook around 40 minutes and
then cool for 10 minutes.
