What is a Speech ?
In order to enlighten non-toastmasters, I added this section, introducing what a project speech is. From the time a person joins toastmasters, he is given opportunities to perform on stage to groom, gear & to grow to be a public speaker. These speeches are called projects. Each project has an objective to be met which would be evaluated by an experienced Toastmaster. The first 10 project teaches basic skills of delivering an effective speech, thereafter different streams specializes based on individuals interests, ie professional speaker, entertaining speaker etc. These speeches are chosen based on many criteria’s, such as style of delivery, live force, body language, vocal variety, enthusiasm etc., Unfortunately, herewith we are limited only to written form, therefore the voting is expected only based on the contents, language and speech structure.
