If you are a well organized person, you can’t be a loser in society. It’s the same scenario in sports. We all saw how badly SLC handled the current World cups. Even all other countries make profit out of this tournament we are incurring huge losses. All other international events were the same. The 1991 SAF games was the only successful event I can remember. If we forget about money, even results are very poor in other events. Nowadays Bangladesh is also beating us in SAF games. I still remember after 1988 Seoul Olympics, president of SLOC told “we are looking for a sprinter like Ben Jonson” but still we can’t find a male sprinter who can qualify even for the final race. Even the biggest tragedy is still the same person is holding the president position in SLOC. Most of our international winners get caught in anti doping cases & they lose their medals. There is no proper portfolio to address that problem yet. We want to take advice & help from countries like China, Australia & Japan to overcome this problem.

Believing
“I can”, that’s the first thought you need to have in your mind at the ground. We always saw lack of self confidences in our players. Even the most experienced players fail in selfbelieving. May be our opponent were stronger than us, more popular than us & richer than us but if you believe in yourself you can beat anyone. There are thousands of examples in the world of sports. We want to add self motivating specialists in every sport of the country.

Execution
As a sportsman, even we are sound in techniques, stronger in the game, well prepared with self confidence, but still end up losing the game, if we don’t execute all of those things in to the game.
