shown kindness and affection for possibly
the first time in their lives. Needless to say,
they flourished in their foster homes.
When their previous owner appeared in
court, he was banned from keeping dogs
for 10 years, and finally Sam and Chip
were signed over into our care.
Jacky decided to adopt Sam the Airedale,
and he now has a wonderful life with
her. In July, Sam passed his Kennel Club
Good Citizen gold test, which is quite an
achievement!
After much deliberation, Chip’s foster Mum
decided not to adopt Chip, as her dog had
taken a bit of a back seat whilst Chip was
being fostererd and she felt rightly that it
was time he had all the attention again.
Thankfully In June, Chip also found a
wonderful new home, and as you can see
from the pictures they now both have a
bright future ahead of them!

We would like to say a huge thank you to
both Jacky and Rosemary. Fostering can
be both joyous and heartbreaking, but it is
always rewarding.
