Feeling Stressed?
Feeling stressed today? You should pray.
Problems of this world are nothing that the God of the universe cannot handle. God can help you if you just talk to Him and ask Him to help you. As missionaries, you are full-time doing what God has called us all to do: make disciples and baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God will definitely help. After praying to God, you will feel more relaxed because a large burden is off your shoulders because God has taken it away from you.
I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27)
Feeling stressed from the pressure? Read daily from the Scripture.
When you are under pressure and stressed, you should take out your Bible and see what God has to say. The scripture you read will probably encourage you to persevere to the finish or comfort and soothe you from your stress. Either way, reading Scripture will take you mind off the stress and focus on what God has to say to help you. If you have prayed to God, reading from the Bible will be like an immediate response from the Lord.
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. (Roman 15:4)
Feeling stressed like a ton? You should talk to someone.
When you are feeling stressed and it feels like you have a ton of demands to meet and the amount of pressure on you feels like a ton, talking to someone may help relieve you of your stress. If you tell someone your problems, you can lighten your load. After you have expressed your problems, you will feel like the person you shared with is carrying a portion of your load. Do not feel that you are making your friends, or family suffer with your problems. Your friends and family are always willing to share the load even if they may not seem like it.
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10)
Feeling stressed? Go buy a dress!
When you are overloaded with work or extremely under pressure, take some time to go shopping. As missionaries, you probably do not have many opportunities to spend you money on something you do not necessarily need, however, if you are able to go shopping, it will keep your mind off the stress and keep your mind on what is being bought, if you should buy it or not…

ust kidding!
This is not a good way to solve your problems by material means. Retail-therapy can become an unhealthy addictive if used often. Also you may not have the money to use for your personal desires.
“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. (Matthew 6: 19-21)
