Auch in diesem Jahr ist Wave Sky, der Faltenbalg zum Schutz der Oberseite von Gantry- Maschinen mit beweglichem Querträger, mit einigen Neuheiten am Stand anzutreffen. Das Design dieser Produktlinie wurde dank des neuen Smartdrive HP-Antriebs überarbeitet, für den PEI ein Patent erhalten hat. Die Zahnstange befindet sich nun außerhalb der Schutzvorrichtung, was eine größere Laufruhe, einen sehr geringen Wartungsaufwand und eine längere Lebensdauer zur Folge hat. Die Leistung wurde außerdem dank zweier Motoren verdoppelt. Diese sind in einer Kartusche installiert, die im Fall einer Störung vom Bediener vollständig entfernt werden kann. Es handelt sich also um eine Plug & Play- Lösung, die den kontinuierlichen Betrieb der Maschine gewährleistet und kostspielige Ausfallzeiten vermeidet: Das Sortiment der Wave Sky-Schutzvorrichtungen wird damit noch leistungsfähiger und zuverlässiger. Ebenfalls erhältlich ist eine Baureihe mit Faltenbälgen in Abdeckungskonfiguration, dem wirksamsten Schutz für große Bearbeitungszentren. Dabei handelt es sich um das modulare X-Y-Abdeckungssystem, das von einer neuen Technologie profitiert, die eine wesentlich schnellere Konstruktion und Fertigung der Abdeckungssysteme mit Faltenbalg ermöglicht und dem Kunden einen effizienteren Service bietet. EMO 2025 At EMO, the most important international trade fair in the machine tool, automation and metalworking sector, PEI is exhibiting its current range of products and some innovations. On this occasion, the most significant items in each protection cover family are showcased at the company stand to enable the public to perceive the completeness of the line-up, while the technical and sales staff is available to explain the individual products and their respective applications in detail. This year too, the line-up includes Wave Sky, the bellows for the protection of the roof of gantry machines with moving cross beam, which incorporates some new features. In detail, the whole family has been redesigned in order to accommodate the new
Smartdrive HP, patented by PEI. The rack is now positioned outside the cover, allowing greater smoothness of movement, very low maintenance and greater durability over time. The power delivered is double thanks to two motors installed inside a cartridge that can be removed completely by the user in the event of a failure. It is therefore a plug & play solution guaranteeing the continuity of operation of the machine and thus avoiding costly downtime: the Wave Sky range of covers then becomes even more powerful and reliable.
