Immer mit dem Ziel, den Platzbedarf zu reduzieren und die Montage und Wartung der Abdeckungssysteme so einfach wie möglich zu gestalten, präsentiert PEI auch in diesem Jahr den Faltenbalg mit Lamellen Unique Steel Cover EVO mit einer wichtigen Neuheit, die beim Markt zweifellos auf positive Resonanz stoßen wird. Bei diesem Faltenbalgtyp wird das Schutzgewebe nur in kleinen Bereichen verwendet, wodurch der Schutz viel leichter ausfällt sowie schneller und einfacher zu handhaben ist, sowohl bei der Installation als auch bei der Wartung. Die
auf der EMO vorgestellte Version hat jedoch einen weiteren Vorteil: Der Platzbedarf wurde weiterhin reduziert, sodass der Zusammendruck um 40 % geringer ausfällt als bei Faltenbälgen mit herkömmlichen Lamellen. Der Markttrend geht nämlich zu immer kleineren Werkzeugmaschinen hin, die Linien werden immer schlichter und der Platzbedarf immer geringer. Daher ist ein leistungsstarker, leichter, schneller und kompakter Schutz die richtige Lösung, um den Anforderungen der Kunden gerecht zu werden.

This type of bellows only uses small portions of protective fabric, making the cover much lighter, faster and easier to handle during installation and maintenance operations. The version displayed at EMO however includes a further advantage: the dimensions have been further reduced, guaranteeing a closed length thickness 40 % lower than bellows featuring conventional slats. The market trend is in fact to increasingly reduce the size of machine tools, the lines are increasingly sober and the footprint increasingly smaller. Therefore, offering a high-performance, lightweight, fast and compact protection cover is the right solution to meet the customer’ s requests.
