NACHHALTIGKEIT STEHT IM MITTELPUNKT DER UNTERNEHMENSPOLITIK
Der Weg von PEI in Richtung Nachhaltigkeit begann lange vor der europäischen Nachhaltigkeitsrichtlinie( CRSD). Ausschlaggebend dabei war die über Jahre hinweg gefestigte Überzeugung, dass es von grundlegender Bedeutung ist, die Region und die dort lebenden Menschen zu respektieren, ein faires Gleichgewicht bei der Nutzung von Ressourcen zu gewährleisten, Recyclingpraktiken anzuwenden und einen Verhaltenskodex einzuführen, der das Wohlergehen von Mitarbei- tern und Lieferanten gewährleistet. Das Unternehmen hat in das Recycling von Werkstoffen investiert, die hauptsächlich für Produkte für die Automobilindustrie( PEI Mobility) und für Werkzeugmaschinen bestimmt sind, insbesondere Aluminium, Stahl und beschichtete Gewebe( PVC). Mindestens 70 % des in PEI-Produkten verwendeten Aluminiums und Stahls besteht aus recyceltem Werkstoff, bei den für die industriellen Schutzvorrichtungen verwendeten Geweben sind es sogar 90 %. Alle Produktions- und Vertriebsaktivitäten von PEI werden von Nachhaltigkeitsgrundsätzen geleitet: Getreu seinem Verhaltenskodex in Bezug auf die Umweltpolitik ist das Unternehmen bestrebt, das Ökosystem zu schützen und das Wohlergehen der Menschen zu gewährleisten, die in seiner gesamten Produktionskette arbeiten.
EMO 2025
PEI nimmt an der EMO teil, der international wichtigsten Messe für Werkzeugmaschinen, Automatisierung und Metallbearbeitung, wo das Unternehmen seine Produktpalette mit einigen Neuheiten vorstellt. SUSTAINABILITY IS THE HEART OF COMPANY POLICIES PEI’ s sustainable journey began well before the European directive on sustainability( CRSD) in the belief- consolidated over the years- of how fundamental it is to respect the local community and the people who live there, ensuring a fair balance in the use of resources, adopting recycling practices and a code of conduct that guarantees the well-being of employees and suppliers. The company has invested in the recycling of materials mostly destined for products delivered to the automotive industry( PEI Mobility division) and to machine tools, specifically aluminium, steel and PVC laminated fabrics. At least 70 % of the aluminium and steel used in PEI products consists of recycled material, but in the case of the fabrics used in its industrial covers, this figure reaches 90 %. All PEI’ s production and sales operations are driven by the principles of sustainability. Faithful to its code of conduct in terms of environmental policy, the company intends to protect the ecosystem and guarantee the well-being of the people who work in its supply chain.
