Spartan Echo Newspaper 66.15 - Spring Recap Edition | Page 2

Editor's Letter

It is with great pleasure to share with you this Spring ‘23 recap and Fall ‘23 welcome edition of the Spartan Echo!

It feels great to have a reliable staff of journalists who love the Spartan Echo as much as I do! This publication would not be what it is without them!

As my time as Editor-in-Chief is coming to a close I can admit we are still in the process of a rebrand. As we continue to build our staff, the “Echo” becomes stronger.

My goal for the Spartan Echo is consistency! We plan to bring you multiple publications this semester so you can always be in the know about what is current in the “Spartan Community and Beyond”.

In this issue, we provide you with recap stories highlighting tremendous events and new stories ranging from sports, faculty spotlight, student accomplishments, to local stories. We hope that the variety of stories will relate to you and inform you, our audience.

In closing, I would like to dedicate this issue to Jahari George, a member of the Spartan Echo who was consistent, diligent, and always willing to learn. He captured the beauty in stories on camera and through his writing. He was a bright light to everyone he encountered and is truly missed.

This issue is for him.

Best regards and happy reading,

Chloe-Ryan Woolfolk

Editor-in-Chief
