European Dhamaka Trip
another successful overseas trip

T
his has been a steady year for
Preston branch as we have
continued with the regular
cultural and social activities.
In fact a surprise birthday had also been
planned. Its credit goes to Kantibhai’s
innovative thinking for preparing
a container to safely transport the
eggless cake which they had prepared
in advance, along with daily dry Prasad
bags for nine days. Thanks to Kantibhai
and Padmaben for also taking care of
the seniors throughout the trip. The
feedback received from the participants
was extremely positive and ‘ All enjoyed
to their heart content’ as described
by Khushalbhai. Khushalbhai further
added ‘All members of the group
appreciated our Prajapati Samaj
hospitality and said that this was the
best holiday ever where they had a
wonderful time and looking forward to
such holidays organised by our Samaj in
the future’.
The committee is delighted by such a
positive and appreciative comment.
It makes us proud to know that
Natubhai and Khushalbhai’s initiatives
have provided a valuable service and
opportunity for the community; locally
and nationally. With this in mind we
hope to continue to support any future
projects. We would like thank all who
put in tremendous hard work and took
part in this trip. Such activities have
helped SPA Preston fulfil its aim to
serve the community whilst positively
reinforcing the Prajapati profile within
the community.
The committee is also delighted to learn
that a number of our members took part
in the 25 mile gruelling Yorkshire Three
Peaks walk for charity. Depending on
their stamina and determination, some
completed one peak, two peaks or all
three peaks. Nevertheless, SPA Preston
acknowledges and congratulates
Dineshbhai, Jaishriben, Indiraben,
Sumit, Jitendra and young Priyan for
taking part and raising money for their
chosen charities.
We hope to continue to progress in
this positive manner in the future. This
is only possible with the support and
participation of the members. On behalf
of SPA (UK) Preston we wish everyone
a very Happy Diwali and a Prosperous
New Year.

Following the success of last year’s
overseas trip to Bali and Malaysia,
one of the main highlights of the year
was yet another successful overseas
trip organised by Natubhai Tailor and
Khushalbhai Kumar in conjunction
with Baba Holidays. The itinerary was
closer to home this time. It involved a
comprehensive tour of Europe visiting
six European countries with breath
taking landmarks and natural scenery
in Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria,
Switzerland and France. The travellers
also enjoyed the daily Arti, bhajans,
movies, music, yoga, pranayam, talks on
health issues and the jokes.
