Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot (9.6% ABV) is a Pacific Northwest influenced American Barleywine. The beer poured a clear mahogany brown. The aroma consisted of pine resin and sweet caramel. The ale had a medium feel with sticky spicy pine resin, dark fruits, sweet caramel malt flavors. Bigfoot is an annual favorite and is a great beer to lay down for a few years for the flavors to develop.
