Once Christians accept and understand
these 7 Cs of history, they develop a
true Christian way of thinking that will
enable them to better understand our
world. Let’s teach the real history of
the universe ... beginning with Genesis.
Don’t be afraid of confronting evolution
Evolutionary ideas directly contradict
God’s Word. So, should we teach them?
Well, think about it: eventually we will
run into evolution. This worldview is
so prevalent, it is unavoidable. But we
don’t need to be scared of it!
The Bible gives us the true history of the
universe, and science confirms what
we see. Instead of hiding opposing
viewpoints, we should engage with
them. We can show people what the
Bible says, how science confirms God’s
Word, and how bankrupt evolutionary
ideas are.
It is better to learn about evolution
from someone who will point out the
weaknesses, rather than from someone
who teaches it as fact.
Teach how to think, not what to think
When I was a teacher in Australia, I
would tell my students the marvelous
evidence for creation. But, when they
went over to an evolutionist teacher’s
classroom, and the students brought
up that information, this teacher would
just re-interpret the same evidence.
The students would then come back to
me and say, “Sir, the other teacher had
a good answer to what you taught.”
I then realized I needed to teach my
students differently. I started to show
them that all evidence is interpreted
on the basis of the beliefs you already
have to start with. In other words,
I taught them how to think, not just
what to think.
I found that most science classes
only instruct the students in WHAT to
think -- not HOW to think. When you
