will easily see that evolution isn’t
observable science -- just a belief.
My students understood what science
is – and isn’t. I taught them that
real science involved using your five
senses in the present to build space
shuttles, for example. But, with origins,
you step outside this sort of science --
you deal with the beliefs of scientists
who weren’t there.

They quickly caught on, and asked
questions like, “How can we know
where we came from?” What a great
opening for me to give the answer—
God created!
The students would now ask the other
teacher: “But, isn’t that because of
your assumptions? Haven’t you really
already assumed evolution is true?”
We need to have the right foundation to
ensure we have the right interpretation
of the evidence.
