Torrox to be on TV in Finland
Warner Bros Finland have been filming in Torrox last month ! The Torrox office of Cómpeta Properties S . L . Real Estate tell us that Torrox is to be part of a television programme in Finland , similar to the British programme ‘ A Place in the Sun ’ which films potential house buyers visiting properties and they are also shown around the area , the village and the houses .
In the episode filmed on Tuesday the 6th of September , the clients focused their attention on Torrox , and Cómpeta Properties S . L . agents had the pleasure of offering them a house on Calle Alta and another one on Calle Montealegre . Each of the two houses was shown by a different sales person accompanying the clients , from two different Estate agents from Fuengirola , as Fuengirola has a large Finnish community .
They started by preparing the houses with a thorough clean and changing the decoration was in the hands of Riita Sourander , an acclaimed interior decorator who came specially from Finland for the episodes to be filmed in Spain . After that the film crew , Director and sound engineer filmed the houses without the clients and then finally they filmed the clients accompanied by the sales person .
The clients had specifically requested Torrox as they have a friend who has recently bought a house on Calle Olivar and they are thrilled at the idea of spending their holidays in their own home in Torrox .
The programme will be broadcast in Spring 2023 and we are sure to see more Finnish around here after it has been shown . All good publicity for Torrox and for Cómpeta Properties S . L . Real Estate .
