AND THE MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON COMES TO AN END …
Has this year ’ s MS football team outperform last year ’ s second place winning high school team ? The middle school football season occurred during the first semester of our 2023-2024 school year with brand new coaches Mr . Lucky and Mr . Nash . Brand new coaches , brand new tactics , brand new team , how did that go on ? It ’ s time to find out ! In terms of tactics , both coaches claimed they ’ re tactics involved Gengenpressing ( counter-pressing ), possession play , and an adventurous style of playing football , they he claimed these tactics were most similar to the play style of Premier League giants Liverpool .
“ I think first it was all about finding the balance and players , one we had found the right players in the right positions , we were able to win games , and the team was able to understand each other . This team really had a great understanding of each other , then only we started clicking and started winning games ” said Mr . Lucky on his overall thoughts on the team .
" This squad was definitely very pleasant to work with , very easy going and great mentality . There were some challenges with the younger kids where they felt like they weren ' t getting enough game time , but we had to keep on rotating the squad based on who we were facing to avoid any risk of injuries " said Mr . Lucky on whether this squad was easy to work with and challenges he encountered .
" With any squad there would obviously be some challenges , but as a whole they were very receptive and easy to work with . They listened to instructions and as a whole , it was a great experience " said Mr . Nash on whether this squad was easy to work with and challenges he encountered .
We can see both coaches mentioned about the teams confidence and spirit being a very positive thing about the team . Both coaches found the squad really easy to work with .
