Alcohol is greatly harmful for mental and physical health , people out there who drink need to stop ! Alcohol is a psychoactive drug that has a high rate of illness and damage that is potentially harmful to both health and society . It causes central nervous system depression , effects your reaction time , self-control , judgment . It ’ s relaxing , but once its effects wear off , it causes sleep disturbances and is a primary contributor to insomnia .
There have been many cases of teens secretly drinking alcohol , getting drunk which potentially could lead to something inappropriate or dangerous to happen . Alcohol abuse at any age can make people do horrible things . For example many crimes involve the criminal being under the influence of alcohol .
An anonymous kid ’ s experience I had a sad and troubled experience with my father , it triggered my anger on alcohol , “ Why dad , can ’ t you just stop drinking ? I don ’ t understand , all the affects are negative , this is absurd , you only need to feel uncomfortable for a few days and you can stop !” I shouted . Yes , I was shouting at my dad in the pandemic , he drank loads of beer and cut the fence of the neighborhood and ran out and cause trouble , then came back and got caught by the guards , then me and my mom had to calm him down and try to get him out of trouble and he didn ’ t even cooperate with me and the guards .
Interviews Q : Do your parents effect you when they drink alcohol ? A : “ Well , only my dad drinks , my mom just banned herself from drinking alcohol because she was also born in a alcoholic family . My dad also comes home late sometimes because he was drinking there . It ’ s really a lot for my mom because she has to take care of me and my sister , basically everyone .” An anonymous student said .
Q : What do you think about alcohol ? A : “ I think alcohol should be banned everywhere , It ’ s obvious , it just makes you drunk and it doesn ’ t really help you with any life problems . Please stop .” Zoey said .
