The Hunger Games

The Hunger Hames is a novel written by Suzzane Collins, and it is set in the future, in the country Panem, which used to be North America. Panem is divided in twelve districts, from the wealthiest to the poorest.
It tells the story of Katniss Everdeen, a girl of the 12th district, which is the poorest. Every year, in Panem, the hunger games are celebrated. In those games, two people from each district are chosen and forced to participate. The main objective is to be the one who survives. Katniss Everdeen has to go through very different and dangerous situations. At the same time, she lives an unusual love with the other boy chosen from her district. Along the story, the act in a strategic way to appeal the audience and do whatever is required to survive.
In my opinion, it is an original novel with amazing characters, who have different and interesting personalities, but maybe some parts are too far-fetched. Another criticism is that the ending is very predictable. However, it is an interesting and entertaining book.
I think that it will appeal everyone who likes sci-fi, not mattering the age. The Hunger Games is an incredible book that will keep you reading until the end.
