KARATE KID

Karate Kid is an action and martial arts film directed by Harald Zwar. The movie is set in China in the present century. It tells the story of a twelve-year-old boy called Drake Parker who has to move to China with his mother.
When Drake’ s father dies, his mother has to go to China to work. Therefore, Parker and his mum travel to their new residential country. In his new school, the boy makes a new friend: Mei Ying, but he makes enemies too. These boys beat him many times until he meets Mr. Han, his neighbour. Mr. Han teaches him Kung Fu and karate in order to protect himself of his school’ s enemies. As a result, Parker becomes a great fighter and he fights against his rivals in a karate competition.
The plot of the movie is very thrilling and the characters are quite interesting. The best part of the film is the end because it’ s really unexpected.
Probably, this type of film will only appeal to teenagers and young people but I recommend it because it’ s very touching and everyone can enjoy it.
