Taking a road trip across Vancouver Island is something I haven’t done alone in a few years. But with all
my cares relegated to the rearview mirror, I set out on a three-day solo trip to experience all the island has
to offer. I’m filled with a desire to dine and unwind in one of Canada’s most beautiful locations.
What am I on the hunt for? Long stretches of twisting roads carving through impossibly gargantuan
ancient forests, beaches gliding off into foggy greyscale waves, and that Zen feeling of being in the here
and the now. Best buckle up.
