Not to be outdone by their colleagues in central or western Canada, the Atlantic
Subaru Club is gaining in influence with each passing year. The second annual East
Coast Subaru Spring Rally & Cruise, which took place on May 28, proved as much.
Despite torrential rain warnings, over 80 Subaru owners from six different locations
across the Maritimes cruised along specific routes in cavalcade fashion, eventually
arriving at Subaru of Moncton. Once there, the family-style celebrations kicked off
— and the raffles, games and food showed that there was a whole lot of Subie pride
powering the occasion.
Instead of charging for food and drinks, Subaru of Moncton catered the whole
affair. They simply encouraged donations, tallying $800 in total, which went directly
to Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic.
The club’s next big event, the East Coast Subaru Fall Rumble, took place on
September 24 in Halifax. The event was sponsored jointly by Steele Subaru and
