POPCORN, THE STARS & A BIG SCREEN
On September 17, the fourth annual Family Night at the Drive-In took place in Oakville, Ont. Subaru owners and their families started rolling in to the legendary 5 Drive-In a little before dusk, giving plenty of time for little ones to play, adults to mingle, and four-legged friends to explore.
With popcorn and other treats in hand, the families enjoyed two of the summer’ s biggest hits, The Secret Life of Pets and Suicide Squad. It was a night of great company, good fun and heartfelt appreciation. For images from this and past events, check out www. subaru. ca / FamilyNight
A TOP DOG ALLIANCE
Ask any dog owner and they will tell you how our four-legged friends help support a healthy and active lifestyle. Subaru has long understood the importance of this special relationship and has participated in many canine-related initiatives over the years. Most recently, Subaru Canada, Inc. was announced as the title sponsor of both Agility Team Canada and the Top Dogs program by the Canadian Kennel Club( CKC).
“ We are thrilled to have Subaru on board,” said Lance Novak, CKC Executive Director.“ Subaru’ s generous support provides CKC with a tremendous opportunity to not only showcase the Agility Team, Top Dogs and their handlers, but also promote the human / animal bond and benefits from participating in the many events CKC has to offer.”
This is a proud alliance, as Subaru’ s contribution will support excellence in dog training and positive relations between dogs, handlers and team members. The time and dedication put into the training of these canine athletes and their handlers also adds up to a very healthy lifestyle, making this a win-win-win scenario for all concerned. [ ckc. ca ]
