Field Days in the Fall
Voice Lessons
Teacher: Anna Christian, Technology Assistant
Grades: 2 nd , 3 rd & 4th
Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 – October 16 (5 weeks)
(No class held on 10/9)
Time: 4-5pm
Fee: $140
Minimum Enrollment: 10; Maximum Enrollment: 20
Grab a friend and join Ms. Christian for an hour of fun filled games
such a Freezeball, “Get’EM”, Hula Hoop Freeze Tag and Sack
Racing. You will have a blast with these fun Field Days in the Fall
classes!
Teacher: Alex Makris, Middle School Music Teacher
Grades: 1 st - 5 th
Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 – October 16 (5 weeks)
(No class held on 10/9)
Time: (30 minute lessons) Lessons are offered from 3:30-5:30 pm
Fees: $260

Mr. Makris will meet with students in a private voice studio setting.
Students will work on developing an understanding of proper vocal
technique including breathing, relaxation of the vocal mechanism,
vowel placement all while learning new and exciting songs. No
previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to work and a
desire to become a better singer. Students will meet for 30 minute per
lesson.
Guitar Lessons
Teacher: Daniel Gomez
Grades: 1 st – 8 th
Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 – October 16 (5 weeks)

Time: Lessons are offered from 3:30-6 p.m.
Fees: 30 minute lessons - $235 / 45 minute lessons - $310

Private guitar lessons offered to beginner through intermediate levels.
Beginners will learn the essential open chords and basic strumming
patterns, as well as note-reading to build a foundation for music. For
those who have previous experience, they will elevate their guitar
playing by learning barre chords, basic lead guitar techniques,
continued note-reading, tablature, fingerstyle guitar, creative
songwriting and more. Students will need their own guitar.
Liturgical Choir 2018-2019
Teacher: Laura Becker, Lower School Music Teacher
Grades: 3 rd – 8 th
Dates: Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays (starting mid-September)
Time: 3:45 - 4:30 pm
Fees: No Charge
Ms. Becker will be leading the choir during school liturgies. All
students in grades 3 rd through 8 th are invited to join. Start date will be
announced in early September.
