Teacher: Paula Fusco, Enrichment Coordinator Grades: Kindergarten, 1 st , 2 nd & 3 rd Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 – October 16 (5 weeks) (No class held on 10/9) Time: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Fees: $140 + $20 materials fee = $160 Minimum Enrollment: 6; Maximum Enrollment: 20 Kids can cook and this class proves it! Come have a fabulous time making fun Fall favorites such as handmade caramel apple pies, monster munch, and chocolate dipped turkey pretzel sticks. Each session will include a delicious mix of savory and sweet dishes that kids will enjoy sampling in class, with plenty to take home for later. Recipes included for more cooking fun at home! Spectacular Scrapbooking Teacher: Michele D’Andrea, Teaching Assistant (KE) Grades: Kindergarten, 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd , 4 th & 5th Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 - October 16 (5 weeks) (No class held on 10/9) Times: 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. Fees: $140 + $50 = $190 Minimum Enrollment: 8; Maximum Enrollment: 20 Each week, students will create a themed page with their photos, beautiful papers and products to adorn the special event during which the photo was taken. Weekly themes include “Family,” “Faith,” “Friendship,” “Fun,” and “Favorites.” Community-building music will be played as children artistically create their very unique and special works of art. Parents and caretakers will be invited to the end of the last class when their children will proudly present their work. Spanish Immersion Teacher: Clarisa Vela, Primary School Spanish Teacher Grades: 1 st , 2 nd & 3 rd Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 – December 4 (11 weeks) (No class held on 10/9, 11/20) Time: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Fees: $308 + $15 materials fee = $323 Minimum Enrollment: 5; Maximum Enrollment: 10 Engage in Spanish language through playful activities and stories. Design and make interesting projects to learn and practice vocabulary about the alphabet, colors and other basic Spanish words. Learn a poem or traditional songs, and create your own and personalized Spanish dictionary that you will take home at the end of the session. Bilingual and heritage speakers are also welcome; they will practice communication, reading, and writing skills by imitating, listening and playing. Minecraft Adventures Teacher: Maria Rodriquez, Teaching Assistant (A1) Grades: 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd & 4 th Dates: Tuesdays, September 11 – October 16 (5 weeks) (No class held on 10/9) Time: 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. Fees: $140 + $15 materials fee = $155 Minimum Enrollment: 6; Maximum Enrollment: 20 Come join Steve and other Minecraft characters on an adventure in exploring new worlds. Visit places such as Treasure Island, an Artic shipwreck, and a secret reef among many others. Problem solve your way through multiple quests as you work to solve the daily challenges.
