Synopsis: On a tiny exotic island, an outgoing parrot and his quirky animal companions befriend
a marooned Robinson Crusoe. When their harmonious lives are disrupted by two savage cats,
they discover the true power of friendship against all odds.
Marketing/Promotion: Host a Family Fun Day at the theatre opening weekend and give it a
tropical island theme. Decorate the theatre to resemble a tropical beach, complete with plant life,
sand, beach balls, and more. Partner with zoos for bounce-backs. Invite handlers to bring exotic
animals in to show patrons. Team up with organizations that work to protect wildlife and the
Earth, creating community awareness projects that can get both children and adults involved.
Coordinate with book stores, libraries, and book clubs to promote the movie alongside the classic
Daniel Defoe novel Robinson Crusoe.
