Condor offer a choice of traditional ferries ( Commodore Clipper & the Condor Islander ) from Portsmouth or fast ferries from Poole to both Jersey and Guernsey . On all vessels there is a choice of dining areas and bars ; maybe stretch your legs and take a leisurely stroll on deck or explore the duty free shop which is packed with great deals on big brand favourites including wine , spirits , tobacco and fragrances . On the fast ferries , The Shipmates Kids Zone is a colourful room where children can sit back and watch the latest movies , while on the new Condor Islander traditional ferry , which carries 400 passengers , there are overnight cabins for 1-4 passengers as well as pet-friendly cabins on board .

Travelling by sea with your car The holiday prices shown on the hotel pages for the Channel Islands include travel by sea as a foot passenger on the fast ferry . If you wish to take your car on the ferry , supplements range from £ 109 to £ 289 depending on the time of year and day of the week . These guide prices are abased on a standard car up to 1.85m high and 5m long . Please call for further information and the latest prices .

Fast ferry from Poole The crossing time from Poole to Guernsey is 3 hours while Poole to Jersey takes 4 hours . Comfortable guaranteed ocean traveller preassigned seating is included in the prices shown for all fast ferry sailings from Poole . To enhance your sailing consider an upgrade : -

Horizon lounge from £ 13.45 ( one way ): These super comfortable seats , situated in the spacious Horizon lounge at the front of the ship , offer panoramic views . Seats are either situated around tables or recline with a tray table . All have access to a power supply for charging devices on the move . The lounge is key card entry and has its own exclusive bar .

Ocean Club class seats from £ 37.95 ( one way ): Set sail in sumptuous surroundings in a private lounge with reclining leather seats and tables . Enjoy at-seat steward service along with a selection of complimentary tea and coffees throughout the journey . The exclusive Ocean Club lounge also provides at-seat power supply for the entire journey .

Traditional ferry from Portsmouth The crossing time from Portsmouth to Guernsey is 6½ hours while Portsmouth to Jersey is from 8½ hours . Standard seating is not allocated on the traditional ferry from Portsmouth ; however , upgraded seating or cabins are available on the ship and can be pre-booked at a supplement .

Reclining seats from £ 13.45 ( one way ): Can be booked in advance , or , subject to availability , you can upgrade on board .

Club lounge seats from £ 24.95 ( one way ): Enjoy steward service in a private lounge with complimentary refreshments .

Cabins : Comfortable cabins are available on the traditional ferry , either inside or outside . There are 2 , 3 or 4 berth cabins available , all offering en suite facilities . Superior cabins are also available , which are forward facing with larger windows and include a complimentary bowl of fruit , bottle of water and additional linen and pillows .

Cabins are recommended for the overnight crossing and also include a complimentary breakfast voucher .
