@PiusXulu How would you describe podcasting to someone who does not know what it is? Podcasting is the preparation of digital audio or video files or recordings, usually part of a themed series, which can be downloaded to music/video players. Why do you podcast? I love doing it. The house music scene has really evolved and with its evolvement comes a lot of new music and at the same time good music is not being featured on commercial radio stations or television programmes. There are many up and coming good producers and artists who really could do with the exposure and support, so this is where we come in as Deejays Lounge on the podcasting scene . @SefKombo How would you describe podcasting to someone who does not know what it is? Well technically podcasting is the combination of the words broadcasting and IPod it‟s a piece of audio musically, speech based or a combination of both delivered to your apple device, although now podcasts exist on other platforms. Why do you podcast? I podcast because I believe it is one of the fastest and efficient ways to get your broadcast material to your fans for on demand listening, once somebody is subscribed then you don‟t have to really worry about promoting to them as they are your fan now and they won‟t miss a show. What’s has podcasting helped you with? It has helped us in a major way because we as #DeejaysLounge utilized it as one of our major marketing tools, to market our DeejaysLounge brand and excessively get it out to the masses. As Deejays Lounge, we‟re not only musically driven however, we have the undying love and passion of uplifting our youth and people in general Any advice for someone who has recently started to podcast. Yes for sure. “The music is always there, just follow your dream”. What’s has podcasting helped you with? Like above its helped me to work on gaining new fans rather than having to try and retain or remind old fans that I have a new broadcast. It also has helped me to build my skills as a free thinking creative broadcaster. I have no boundaries so you get the full me and I get real listeners. Any advice for someone who has recently started to podcast. You need good music! But that good music is you, and sometimes other people can relate to it, that is what you need for a podcast. If it is speech based just be free be honest, it is your channel. Have fun and learn!
